Aston Martin plans to showcase a range of new products at Europe’s biggest automotive exhibition.
Aston Martin has a surprise in store at the upcoming Geneva Motor as it plans to showcase a range of new products at Europe’s biggest automotive exhibition. It will also mark the company’s biggest-ever presence at Geneva. This includes the global debut of the all new Vantage, Aston Martin Racing’s 2018 WEC Vantage GTE, DB11 Volante and Coupe to be shown together for the first time and Aston Martin Red Bull Racing F1TM show car in 2018 racing livery. The company promises it to be the most diverse and exciting display of road and race cars Aston Martin has ever gathered at Geneva. The 88th Geneva Motor Show will be open for media from March 6-7, while the public will enter the premise on March 8 till March 18.
Looking forward to the 88th Geneva Show, Aston Martin’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Andy Palmer said, “I’m especially excited to see how people react to the new Vantage. We also have the recently launched and extremely beautiful DB11 Volante on the stand, and I’m certain motorsport fans will be thrilled to see Aston Martin Red Bull Racing F1 car and Aston Martin Racing’s all-new Vantage GTE World Endurance Championship challenger. It’s always a proud moment to see the fruits of the company’s efforts on show in one place, but this year’s Geneva Show promises to be extra special. Who knows, we may even have one or two surprises in store.”
At the heart of this display is the new Aston Martin Vantage, which is making its global show debut. This is the first opportunity for press and public alike to have a close look at Aston Martin’s thoroughbred twin-turbocharged V8 sports coupe. Joining the Vantage road is Aston Martin Racing’s new Vantage GTE race car. Built to contest the World Endurance Championship (WEC), including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Vantage GTE is in the final stages of development programme ahead of its international race debut at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in May.
Also joining is the V8-powered DB11 coupe together with the recently launched DB11 Volante. It’s the first time both versions of the popular DB11 and the new Vantage have been shown collectively. Moreover, sporting the new 2018 livery, the new F1 challenger will also be accompanied on March 6.
